And now, for the rules...
- All content on blogs/ sites must be appropiate for all ages and must be God-honoring.
- All content on blogs must conform to a biblical view. If the blog has things on it that are not exactly for the Bible, but just fun (ie, reviews, thoughts, etc.), they are allowed as long as they are appropiate.
- All content on blogs that is for the Bible (and none must be against it) and God is not allowed to have certain theological ideas promoted. A list of those is provided one bullet down. If you wish to have your blog put into this group and it promotes certain theological themes, you may head to our other blog (I'll create it in a few minutes... it will be for debates/ discussions on theologocial ideas and other things) to debate it.
- Theological ideas not allowed to be promoted (why aren't they?... read another bullet down! :-) :
* Any theological ideas of other religions (ie, mormon, new-age, catholic, democrat ;-) etc.
* The idea that God speaks verbally to any person in this age.
* The idea that any spiritual being (ie, demon, angel, Satan, God) gives revelations to people nowadays.
* The belief of spiritual gifts like healing, tongues (the kind where you speak incoherently or to spiritual beings), etc.
* Promotion of out of body experiences (I believe they are real, but not really good)
* The idea that a Christian can become perfect and sinless. - We may add to this list of rules at any time, but we WILL notify you if there are any changes made.
The reason that we don't allow certain theological ideas is that they are against the word of God. We have some pretty good biblical backup, so if you would like the verses, then comment and ask, or head to the blog that I am going to create in a while... where you can freely debate theological ideas.
About a couple theological ideas... there is an exception. That is that I do believe that God sometimes sends help in a supernatural form to believers (although, don't be expecting it... just expect strength and endurance). One example is a story of some missionaries in Africa I think it was. One night, the villagers they were with were about to attack and kill them, but they didn't. The next day, the missionaries asked what happened. The villagers responded by saying that they wouldn't attack because an enormous army of winged beings with swords were guarding their hut. I don't know if it is real or not, but I do believe that God does do things like that sometimes.
I may have been a bit confusing, so if you have any questions, comment and ask!
